Aesops Fables- Lion and Mouse

This is a picture story book with a fully illustrated short story for kids. This picture story is told in simple words and is basically a retelling of a popular fable from Aesop – ‘The lion and the mouse’. This moral story for kids will appeal to preschool, kindergarten and slightly older kids. This is an ancient story about friendship – of how the mouse repaid a favour done by the lion. The pictures are bright and attractive. This story will illustrate to children the importance of friendship and of helping others. Although the lion was mighty and much bigger than the tiny mouse, it still accepted the mouse’s offer of friendship and let it go without harming it. (Children have to look at a picture and then remember various details in the picture.) There is an ‘odd one out’ activity where children have to look at a set of pictures and identify the odd one out.
